DAYA in partnership with the Church of Our Saviour will be offering a Benedictine prayer morning. It is in these mornings that we hope to share in a larger community this monastic form of a daily life: prayer - worship - study - work - eat.
We will be meeting the first and third Saturday of every month and lunch will always be provided. The meeting will go as follows:
Saturday Mornings
Each day will begin at Our Saviour with a Benedictine morning prayer, study of saints and monastic life, and Eucharist. Afterward we will participate in a few hours of scheduled work and then follow with a silent meal to end the day. We will rotate between ongoing projects with organizations like the Emmaus House and random projects that will be decided on the day before we meet.
