Athens Episcopal Young Adults, also know as E2YA, welcomes everyone in their 20s and 30s, as well as those that feel that age, who are single, coupled, married, and with or without children. E2YA is foremost a Christian community offering friendship, support and spiritual development for those within and outside of the Episcopal tradition of worship. As we say “everyone is welcome” to join us!
Friendships start with community.
E2YA Meet-and-Greet

Timely topics are often discussed, and for those interested in learning more about the Episcopal tradition assistance is available. Information about this event is emailed to E2YA members, provided in the church bulletin and also on the group’s Facebook page. Email Brian Freese ( or ) for more information or to be added to the E2YA distribution list.
E2YA Sunday Brunch

Supporting one another in Christ’s love.
Emmanuel Parish offers a variety of ministries to parishioners. E2YA members may wish to become involved in parish life through participation in the Brotherhood of St. Andrew, various dinners and events held regularly at the parish, or through volunteering for one of the many ministries actively serving the parish and broader community. Take a look at the “Ministries” section of this website for a complete list of ministries.
Engaging the mind and growing the spirit.
E2YA participates in the full life of the parish through attending regularly scheduled worship, bible study, and formation programs. Adult spiritual formation offers various regularly scheduled classes. The church bulletin lists these opportunities as part of the regular calendar.
E2YA also joins the Episcopal Center of the University of Georgia for midweek services. Wednesday evenings is an opportunity to gather for worship with Holy Eucharist with a meal after the service prepared by the Center staff. This is a great opportunity to connect or reconnect with the University of Georgia community, and there are ample opportunities for other worship and community service through the Center. Email Father Dann Brown ( )for more information.
Always looking for more ways to welcome!
