The Vestry met before the Annual Meeting to choose the consultant for the Capital Campaign.  Father Robert called the meeting to order at 8:00 am.

Fr. Robert asked for a straw vote on the two candidates for consultant, RSI and The James Company.  He stated that he would like there to be a consensus to decide the question.  Naomi opened the floor for comments.

After full discussion and comments from every member present, the Vestry another straw vote was taken.

Fr. Robert noted that the people who will raise the money in the capital campaign are the people of Emmanuel.   Whoever assists, the parish and the Vestry can raise what we are able. Both companies are highly capable and successful.  He asked if the Vestry could come before the parish at the Annual Meeting and affirm that they are fully behind the Capital Campaign with the guidance of the consultant they choose.  All agreed.

Motion:  Vince moved that the Vestry accept The James Company and Fred Stoltz to lead the Capital Campaign by a consensus vote.

The motion was seconded and passed by full consensus.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 am.

Respectfully submitted by Lee Albright, Clerk of the Vestry
