Discussion items:

1) Plans for Robert’s installation. 5 pm July 30th.

- Lee reported that she is working on the reception and questioned how to determine the number of people attending. Robin suggested contacting Rick Calloway to help answer the question.

- Amery asked the vestry role in the service. Robin explained that that a warden and parishioners present specific gifts to the rector. The vestry does not have to sit together.

- To talk about further details of the service-Allison, Lee, Robin B., Butch and Brian will meet.

2) Cottages.

- Robin B. asked do we want to open discussion on the removal process now or wait until it goes through the HRS process.

- Katherine asked does this have anything to do with John Waters letter to the vestry. Robin replied no that we were at the present point before the letter.

- Gillian asked if ok meant that we are approving spending money? Amrey asked the commission chairs’ opinion.

- Tom responded we pick up the application fee and ½ the mortgage though January 1, 2007. Tom expressed objection to the change in direction from the original plan (a free move and $10,000.00 in cleanup). Stated we have already spent $3,700.00 for rendering and we should not continue past January 1, 2007.

- Robert pointed out that we should have a ruling on our petition by September to help in planning.

- Brian pointed out that -December is the longest we can have expenditures under revised plan.

- Robin K encouraged action and discouraged “cold feet”.

- Tom suggested that we go forward with issue and pointed out that property issues will need to be solved before the renovation or property sale but the solution should be part of a long term strategic plan which we do not have at the present time. He also suggested we should not be paralyzed by property issues.

- Robin B. asked for approval for possible expenditures. 11 approve .1 disapprove.

Good of the Order

- Butch suggested a response to John Waters’ letter. Robin B. will respond.

- Robert said to consider previous development plans null and everyone will be a part of the fresh start moving forward once we all determine where it is we are going and how we need to get there.

- Allison said that Vacation Bible School was great.100 children attended. Georgia Collier did a great job as well as Jackie Anderson and Claire Smith.

Robert closed with “Our Call to Save, “Call to worship”.
