The Facilities Committee

The Facilities Committee is charged with maintenance and upkeep of church properties. Included are the church building itself, its offices and the Parlor, the Parish House including the Day School, the Board of Realty building and the Music Building (formerly the Insurance building) on Prince Avenue, the Youth House and the Meeting House, the Cobb House, the Thrift Store/Potter's House building, and the parking lots and grounds.

It is important to note that much of the work not requiring a specialist or code approval is done either as donations or at cost when parishioners bring their own businesses to bear on a project. And beyond that, even some that is done by specialists is done with donated funds. We are indeed blessed by the generosity and talent of those who volunteer in these efforts. We have had parish work days in which an amazing amount was accomplished by a relative few.

One of the major goals of the Committee is to anticipate needs so that we can be proactive rather than simply responding to one crisis after another. We hope for a five year plan .
