Children’s Liturgy

Children’s Liturgy provides K - 4th graders a chance to participate in the Liturgy of the Word on an age-appropriate level. Each Sunday the children read the Sunday Paper, Jr., a lectionary-based, cartoon-style depiction of the day’s gospel reading. Informative and entertaining, the Sunday Paper, Jr. promotes discussions in the group and helps children to relate the gospel to their own lives. The group also enjoys singing and praying during Children’s Liturgy.

Children’s Liturgy is located in the Parlor (next to the office) and begins at 10:30 a.m. The children join their parents at the Peace and remain for communion.

All children in K - 4th grades are welcome to join Children’s Liturgy!

You can help! Monthly storytellers, pianists, worship leaders, and assistants are always welcome! To learn more, or if you’re interested in being part of the Children’s Liturgy leadership team, please call or email one of the leaders.
