New Beginnings: A New Future at Emmanuel

A Retreat for Men

May 20th to May 22nd

For the first time in many, many years Emmanuel held a men’s retreat. The idea was enthusiastically embraced by parishioners young and old. The theme was New Beginnings: A New Future at Emmanuel. The Reverend Jon Appleton lead the program. The retreat was held at Camp Mikell on May 20th to May 22nd. The time together began with dinner on Friday night and ended after lunch on Sunday.

The retreat was a unique opportunity for the men in the parish to come together for worship, spiritual nurture, fellowship and just plain fun. The retreat will included Jon’s program, Bible study, worship, fellowship and a Saturday afternoon of leisure.

The Pictures below tell the story. Please thank Harry Yates for taking the photographs.
